On the road again

The Florida Renaissance Festival is over and it's time to move on. We struck the tent and put everything in our van on Monday. Amazing that it fit since we seem to have acquired at least 10 pounds of Florida dust on everything! What a mess. Tuesday we left Florida at 7:30 after readying our little travel trailer for the road (8x22 feet). We drove a hellatious 13 hours home, and we were both so tired that it was dinner, bath and bed time! Today we cleaned everything in the van as best we could and restocked and put everything back in the van, did laundry, had maybe 4 hours off and tomorrow we'll leave home for a convention center show in Richmond Virginia.

Sometimes, in this slow economy, hard times call for hard work and here's to hoping we're up to the challenge.

While I was in Florida it snowed at home in South Carolina for the first time since we moved here from California in 2005.

During the Florida show I managed to finish the artwork for a new tapestry bell pull which will be the 4 seasons done as fantasy butterflies, and a personal portrait that was ordered at the Florida show. Both will appear soon on the website.
